Red Cross Offers CPR Discount to Small Businesses
GALAX,VA…….The Woods River Chapter of the American Red Cross has designated the third Wednesday of every month as “Small Business Day”. On that day
companies with no more than 25 employees can request a $5 per student discount for
CPR and First Aid Training.
“We hope this accommodation might help small businesses meet their OSHA safety standards requirements,’ says Joan Isom, Executive Director of the Wood’s River
Red Cross. She says that the discount coupons are available at the Red Cross, 244 Bee
Line Drive in Galax and that more information can be obtained by calling the Red
Cross at (276) 236-2891.
Without the discount, classes are offered at the following rates:Standard First Aid - $37;Adult CRP – 50; and Standard First Aid with CPR - $65.
Reservation are now being accepted.
